Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan Rescues An IPS Officer After Mid-Air Panic Call
The governor responded to a panic call at 4 AM on Saturday from the IndiGo's air hostess in mid-air
Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, a practicing Gynecologist before her political entry, grabbed a stethoscope on Saturday to rescue her co-passenger after the IPS officer complained of breathlessness while she was returning to Hyderabad from Varanasi via New Delhi.
The governor responded to a panic call at 4 AM on Saturday from the IndiGo's air hostess in mid-air. "There was a panic call from air hostess while the flight was in mid-air. Got up to rush to the rear to see a passenger looking drowsy sweating profusely C/o indigestion symptoms? Made him lie flat checked vitals wWith FIRST AID & supportive drugs & assurance there was a smile on his face as much as on Co passengers. On arrival, he was transported in a wheelchair to the airport medical booth. Appreciate IndiGo airhostess & staff for timely alert & facilitation," Guv Tamilisai wrote on her Twitter handle.

The governor also gave some suggestions to IndiGo through her Twitter. "Few suggestions to IndiGo first aid kit must be kept in a ready to use stage & contents verified daily. Doctors travelling on board can be noted on the travel chart as in railways for call sos. 4 AM mid-air I was awake to take the call. Your call may go unnoticed in sleepy hours," Governor Tamilisai tweeted.
"Hope IndiGo imparts Cardio pulmonary resuscitations skills (CPR) training to its crews on board to help the sick on flight. I advise Even citizens to take a formal CPR training to save others in emergencies," she further left a few suggestions to IndiGo in her Twitter post.
