According to Telangana minister T Harish Rao, who is also the nephew of CM KCR, an open meeting will be held in 100 acres area which will be attended by lakhs of party supporters. For the meeting the party has arranged 20 parking spaces spread across 448 acres, he said.

Meanwhile, BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay took a dig at KCR by saying temples have become business centers for the Kalvakuntla family. "Is KCR taking other states CMs to showcase Hindu temple as investment opportunity ahead of BRS Khammam meeting?" Bandi Sanjay tweeted.

Telangana is scheduled to go for polls in December this year and as BJP strengthens its presence in the state, KCR's effort to form a national front is seen as an effort to counter the ruling government at the Centre.

In the past, KCR has said forming a non-congress non-BJP alliance and held meetings with regional leaders like Mamata Banarjee, Naveen Patnaik, MK Stalin, Uddhav Thackery, Sharad Pawar, Hemant Soren, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejaswi Yadav and many others.

KCR has even launched its national party BRS and made it clear that it has a national ambition however, to date, no other party has confirmed and shown interest in KCR’s national plank.
