Telangana BJP In-Charge Denies Party's Links To Alleged Accused In The TRS MLA Poaching Incident
Tarun Chugh alleged that CM KCR has supported the controversy since he lost control over the government.
Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in-charge Tarun Chugh on Friday denied links of his party to alleged accused in the TRS MLA poaching incident. Addressing a press conference in Delhi, the BJP leader said, "We never tried to lure TRS MLAs with money or contracts. They are leaving on their own. We have nothing to do with the entire episode. Chandrashekhar Rao is the mastermind of this entire drama."
Tarun Chugh alleged that CM KCR supported the controversy since he lost control over the government. He also expressed confidence in BJP winning the Munugode by-election.
Earlier in the day the Telangana Chief Minister at a press conference had said that he will present video and audio as evidence to prove that the BJP "conspired" to buy TRS MLAs for Rs 100 crore.

Meanwhile, Union Minister for Tourism Kishan Reddy has strongly condemned Chief Minister KCR’s charges against Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda.
Reddy in a statement on Thursday said that KCR is making the same allegations despite the BJP making it clear that the individuals suspected of trying to poach TRS MLAs were unrelated to the party. The Moinabad farmhouse video was a hoax that was performed by actors according to a screenplay written by the Chief Minister himself, said Reddy.
The Union Minister continued, "KCR is merely attempting to present a fake video as a genuine one when he made it obvious that the BJP has nothing to do with it."
