Prime Minister Narendra Modi To Visit Telangana On July 8 To Attend Several Events

PM Modi is also scheduled to address a large public meeting in Warangal, and the party is making all the necessary arrangements for the event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Telangana on July 8 to lay the foundation stone for the Railway Coach Periodic Overhauling facility in Kazipet center at Kazipet in Hanamkonda district and also a mega textile park at Warangal. PM Modi is also scheduled to address a large public meeting in Warangal, and the party is making all the necessary arrangements for the event. The Arts college grounds at Hanmakonda are the suggested location for the conference.

In view of the visit, the Hyderabad meeting to be chaired by BJP national president JP Nadda with the party presidents of 11 states has been cancelled.

PM Modi's visit to Telangana was initially scheduled as part of the 'Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan', a campaign by the party to commemorate nine years of his government. However, the visit was postponed.

The Centre had promised a Railway Coach Factory to Telangana in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, but it remained unfulfilled. The BRS government, which had even identified land for the location of the coach factory, has been targeting the Modi government for going back on its promise.

During his previous visit to Telangana in April, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various projects worth over Rs. 11,300 crores. These projects encompassed areas such as railways, road connectivity, and health infrastructure development.

On Tuesday, while addressing a public meeting in Bhopal, PM Modi launched a fresh attack on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. "If you want the welfare of K. Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter, then vote for BRS. But if you people want the welfare of your sons and daughters and grandchildren, then vote for BJP," Modi said as quoted by IANS.

Modi slammed opposition parties and their recent meeting that took place in Bihar, saying all the corrupts have joined their hands in Patna. The Prime Minister said that the parties have come together to escape the "anti-scam" crackdown.

He said that "corrupt leaders" were trying to save each other. Over 15 Opposition parties met on June 23 in Bihar's Patna to strategise on forming a united front to take on the Modi juggernaut ahead of next year's Lok Sabha elections.
