Hyderabad: Another Stray Dog Attack Leaves 4-Year-Old Injured. Congress Demands Compensation For Family
Reacting to the increasing stray menace in Hyderabad, Congress leader Hanumanth Rao demanded the ruling BRS government financial assistance to the family of the victim
In yet another stray dogs attack incident, a 4-year-old boy in Hyderabad has been attacked in Serilingampalle's Maruti Nagar Colony on Tuesday. The victim boy's mother complained to municipal authorities about the increasing stray dog menace in the area.
"4-5 street dogs attacked my son. He sustained minor injuries. We complained to municipal authorities to take away these dogs as they are attacking people," said victim's mother Bhagyalakshmi, as quoted by news agency ANI.
Reacting to the increasing stray menace in Hyderabad, Congress leader Hanumanth Rao demanded the ruling BRS government financial assistance to the family of the victim. He mentioned that earlier also four such incidents happened.
"Government should give financial assistance to the victim's family. Previously also 3-4 incidents have taken place. In another incident, a security officer's son was also attacked & he died. I already spoke to the Mayor to take action," Hanumanth Rao told ANI.

Earlier in Hyderabad's Bagh Amberpet, a five-year-old child was mauled to death by street dogs near his father's workplace at a housing society in Hyderabad on Sunday. The boy was rushed to the hospital for treatment but was declared brought dead. The horrific incident was recorded on a CCTV camera.
The young child was identified as Pradeep, son of Gangadhar, a resident of Bagh Amberpet. Gangadhar had shifted to Hyderabad with his family for work.
Report said that Gangadhar was working as a security personnel in an automobile workshop and had taken the child to his workplace. In the CCTV footage, the boy can be seen walking around when street dogs attacked him. Upon hearing his child's cry, the distraught father rushed to the spot and took him to a nearby hospital. However, Pradeep has been declared brought dead.
