Amit Shah Has Come To 'Divide & Bully' People Of Telangana: KTR On Hyderabad Liberation Day Speech

Chennai: Telangana Minister and ruling TRS working president KTR slammed Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his speech during Hyderabad Liberation Day program on Saturday. The statement of KTR came after Amit Shah praised Sardar Vallabhai Patel for 'liberating Hyderbad' from 'Razakars' of Nizams.
In a tweet, Telangana Minister KTR said, "74 years ago, A Union Home Minister came to unite and integrate The People of Telangana into Indian union."
"Today a Union Home Minister has come to divide and bully. The people of Telangana & their state govt. That's why I say, India needs decisive policies Not divisive politics," he said.

KTR gave the response to a speech made by Amit Shah on Saturday. In his speech, Amit Shah said, unfortunately, 75 years are over since India got freedom but no one dared to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day due to vote bank politics.
According to PTI, Amit Shah said, “If not for Sardar Patel, Hyderabad would have taken more years to get liberated. Sardar Patel knew that as long as Nizam's Razakars could not be defeated, the dream of Akhand Bharat will not be fulfilled.”

He said: “Unfortunately, 75 years are over and those who ruled this place could not dare celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day due to vote bank politics. So many people have promised during elections, agitations they would celebrate Liberation day. But when they came to power they turned back due to the fear of Razakars.”
Meanwhile, the BJP and TRS are celebrating the events in different ways on Saturday. The BJP is calling the event a liberation day from 'cruel' Nizam rule while TRS is celebrating a 3 day long Telangana National Integration Day.
