A YouTuber named Nicholas Perry, popularly known as ‘Nikocado Avocado,’ has secretly lost over 250 pounds (114 Kg) in the past two years. Perry did all this while pulling an elaborate 2-year long prank on his viewers by posting old food-centric videos to make them believe that he was busy eating all that food. He left his viewers stunned with this extreme weight loss transformation revelation, as they never suspected anything due to his regular video posting schedule. 

The bomb was dropped on his viewers in the video titled, ‘Two Steps Ahead,’ in which he admitted to fooling his fans with pre-recorded videos during his weight-loss journey. The video has garnered more than 20 million views. The video opened with Perry wearing a panda head, and saying, “I am always two steps ahead.”

What Went Down

The renowned YouTuber said that his transformation had been quite a personal and private process. He called it “the greatest social experiment of my entire life.” He said, “It’s worrying, it’s compelling, it’s gripping to observe all these unwell, disorientated beings roaming the internet in search of stories, ideas, rivalries where they feel encouraged, engaged.”

In another video, shared on a different YouTube channel, he seemed more relaxed as he briefly recalled how he was able to pull off this incredible stunt. 

He confessed that he had not filmed a single video in two years and rather was just showcasing old content on his YouTube channel to keep it alive while focusing on his health and well-being simultaneously. 

His viewers were quite impressed by his dedication and commitment to secrecy that he maintained during his weight loss journey.
