Looking For A Tablet Under Rs 15,000? OnePlus's Latest Launch Could Be Worth Checking Out

OnePlus has launched the Pad Lite in India with a large display, quad speakers and powerful battery. Two models are available and pricing makes it one of the brand’s most accessible devices.

OnePlus Pad Lite tablet has been launched in India at a surprisingly affordable price. Positioned for casual users, students and those who need a daily-use device for media consumption and multitasking, the new tablet aims to deliver practical performance in a sleek form factor.

The tablet’s price point makes it a notable launch in its category. Key highlights include an 11-inch display, quad-speaker setup certified for Hi-Res Audio, and a large battery rated for extended playback and standby. The device also comes with software features designed to improve productivity and child safety. It will be available in the country starting August 1.

OnePlus Pad Lite Price In India

The OnePlus Pad Lite will be available in two variants. The Wi-Fi-only model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 14,999, while the Wi-Fi + 4G LTE variant with 8GB RAM and the same storage is priced at Rs 15,999.

Customers can also avail of limited-period offers, including instant bank discounts of Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 on the 6GB and 8GB models, respectively. Additionally, no-cost EMI options for up to six months will be available through select bank partners.

OnePlus Pad Lite: Top Features

The Pad Lite features an 11-inch LCD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, supporting 10-bit colour and a peak brightness of 500 nits. It delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 85.3% and includes Eye Comfort technology to reduce blue light exposure and screen flicker. The tablet’s Hi-Res Audio-certified quad-speaker system uses Omnibearing Sound Field technology to adjust sound based on screen orientation.

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 processor built on a 6nm process, paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM, depending on the model. It runs OxygenOS 15.0.1 and is optimised to maintain performance for up to 36 months. The device also includes the Open Canvas feature, allowing multitasking through side-by-side apps with adjustable windows.

In terms of design, the tablet weighs 530 grams, is 7.39mm thick, and comes in an Aero Blue colour with a sandblasted finish for better grip.

The OnePlus Pad Lite houses a 9,340 mAh battery. OnePlus claims up to 80 hours of music playback, 11 hours of video streaming and 54 days of standby time. The tablet supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging via USB-C.

It includes features such as Screen Mirroring, Shared Gallery, and Clipboard Sharing for syncing content across OnePlus devices. Quick Share and O+ Connect allow content transfer with Android and iOS/iPadOS devices, respectively.

For younger users, the Pad Lite includes Kids Mode with default eye protection, screen time controls, and app access restrictions. It also comes preloaded with Google Kids Space, which offers age-appropriate content in the form of apps, videos and books.

Availability And Where To Buy

The OnePlus Pad Lite will go on open sale starting August 1 at noon. Buyers can purchase it from OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, Amazon, Flipkart, OnePlus Experience Stores, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics and other authorised retail outlets.
