Google Photos: Accidentally Deleted Your Photos? Retrieve Them Back With These Easy Steps

Google Photos app lets users hide, lock and recover their photos. If your photos have been accidentally deleted, you can get them back easily.

New Delhi: This has happened to everyone - accidentally deleting best memories from your smartphone. If you are using an Android OS-based phone and have given permission to sync your gallery with Google Photos, it has a feature that allows retrieving deleted photos.

You can recover them within two months of deleting these photos. Now the question is, what are the steps involved in this process. So let's know how to recover deleted photos and videos.
 
Recover Deleted Photos & Videos

Step 1: Open the Google Photos app on your Android device.
Step 2: On top, click on the icon on the left side and select the 'Trash' option.
Step 3: Touch and hold the photo or video you want to restore.
Step 4: After doing so, press the 'Restore' option.  
Your deleted photos will return to the phone's Gallery app.

How To Lock Your Photos

Step 1: In the Google Photos app, go to the 'Library' to use the Locked Folder feature.
Step 2: Tap the 'Utilities' option.
Step 3: Then you'll see the option of 'Locked Folder'.
Step 4: You will be able to lock your photos and videos in this folder.
Step 5: You can lock the folder with a passcode so that no one can get access to it.
