New Delhi: Skagen on Monday refreshed its wearables line in India with the Skagen Falster Gen 6 Smartwatch. Initially announced in August 2021, the Skagen Falster Gen 6 is the first smartwatch powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ Platform. Skagen Falster Gen 6 Smartwatch will be available in five styles in 42-mm case size, including silver-tone, charcoal, and black case colour options.

The styles launch on straps made with the brand’s stainless steel mesh, silicone and leather, and are also compatible with all 20-mm straps and bracelets for added customisation. Each style will retail in the country for Rs 21,995. At this price point, the Skagen Falster Gen 6 smartwatches with Wear OS compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and some Apple Watch Series models.

Skagen Falster Gen 6 smartwatch specs and features

The Skagen Falster Gen 6 smartwatch is powered by the Snapdragon 4100+ processor which is expected to get the Wear OS 3.0 update sometime this year. There is a 1.28-inch AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM coupled with 8GB of storage. In terms of health and activity monitoring, the Skagen Falster Gen 6 features a PPG heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, and off-body IR among other features. For both Android and iOS smartphone users, there is the ability to make and receive tethered calls from their Skagen Gen 6 smartwatch. Water resistance on the device is up to 3ATM.
