Galaxy S25 Plus Geekbench Benchmarking Insights

Recently, the Galaxy S25 Plus appeared on Geekbench under the model number SM-S936B, providing a clearer look at its processing power. According to the listing, the Galaxy S25 Plus achieved scores of 2359 in single-core tests and 8141 in multi-core tests. While solid, these scores fall just short of matching the peak performance of Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, though they position the Galaxy S25 Plus as a strong contender in the flagship market.

The Geekbench results also suggest that the Galaxy S25 Plus will be equipped with 12GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking capabilities, and will operate on the Android 15 OS. The listing hints at Samsung utilising its latest Exynos 2500 chip, indicated by the processor code “s5e9955.” This ten-core processor is designed with a 1+2+5+2 core architecture, reaching speeds of up to 3.30GHz on a single core, 2.75GHz on two cores, and 2.36GHz on five cores, showcasing impressive processing speeds and energy efficiency.

Processor Strategy Across the Galaxy S25 Lineup

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, which surfaced on Geekbench last month, is anticipated to offer even stronger performance than the Galaxy S25 Plus. Given the Ultra model's elite status in the series, it may feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the standard Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus are more likely to debut with Samsung's Exynos 2500 processor.

However, similar to the Galaxy S24 lineup, Samsung could adopt a region-specific strategy, releasing Snapdragon-powered versions of all Galaxy S25 models in selected markets to appeal to consumers who prefer Qualcomm chipsets.
