Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy M55 5G, the latest addition to its M series smartphone lineup in India. The device features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, which is identical to its predecessor. However, it now houses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, replacing Samsung's in-house Exynos 1380 found in the Galaxy M54.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G Specifications, Features
The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G offers up to 8GB of RAM and features a 50MP rear camera with 1.5˚ OIS and VDIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera setup. On the front, there's a 50MP selfie camera. Running on Android 14 with One UI 6, Samsung promises 4 generations of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. It introduces Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-based security solution, to the M series for the first time.
The phone boasts an in-display fingerprint scanner and houses a 5000mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging, a first for the M series. However, it doesn't include a charger in the box.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 is available in Denim Black and Light Green colours. The pricing starts at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, and Rs 32,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 is now available on e-commerce sites Amazon India, Samsung India online store, and other retail stores. Prospective buyers can enjoy a Rs 2000 instant discount on all Credit and Debit Cards EMI from the leading banks and on full payment, bringing the effective starting price down to Rs 24,999.
Additionally, there is a Rs 2000 instant discount on HDFC Bank Cards or Rs 2000 off on exchange at physical retail stores. Furthermore, customers can receive a Rs 250 voucher by completing one successful Samsung Wallet Tap & Pay transaction on the Galaxy M55 5G, provided as gift cards of Amazon within the Samsung Wallet app.
