Mark Zuckerberg Reviews Apple Vision Pro. Here's What Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman & Other Tech Titans Said

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that Quest 3 headset is not just better than Apple Vision Pro in terms of price but it is a better product as well. Check out what other tech CEOs said about it.

Meta's Chief Executive Officer, Mark Mark Zuckerberg, has become the latest to join the list of tech CEOs who have shared their opinions on Apple's Vision Pro headset. It's not an everyday thing when you see top executives openly discussing products from rival companies, especially when they are competing in the same domain. Apart from Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Nothing CEO Carl Pei have also shared their views on the latest offering from Apple.

The Meta CEO posted a video in which he discussed Apple's mixed reality headset. He drew comparisons with the Quest 3 headset which is produced by his company. Zuckerberg in his post shared, “I have to say that before this, I expected that Quest would be the better value for most people since it's really good and it's like seven times less expensive. But after using it, I don't just think that Quest is better value, I think Quest is a better product period."

He highlighted key differences between the two devices, comparing the weight, field of view, flexibility of accessories and, obviously, the price. He also pointed out some positives of Apple Vision Pro such as its higher screen resolution and impressive eye tracking.

Other Tech CEOs on Apple Vision Pro

Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai said, "I literally haven’t used or seen it, but we’ve always felt computing will evolve beyond the black rectangles. We will have more immersive experiences. I’m excited about the potential for the technology."

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in his tweet wrote, "Vision Pro is second most impressive tech since the iPhone."

Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, mocked the product last year but he showered praises soon after its debut. He tweeted, “We should celebrate Apple for making the Vision Pro, even if the gen1 product is mid. This is how progress is made, people try new things, learn, and iterate. Gen2 will be better!”
