Zepp Health-backed wearables maker Amazfit on Friday revealed the launch date of its next fitness band, the Amazfit Band 7 in India. The company has confirmed that the Amazfit Band 7 will be launched in India on November 8. Some of the key specs of the Amazfit Band 7 will be its big immersive screen, built-in Alexa app and battery life of up to 18 days.

The Amazfit Band 7 will be available in two colours: classic black and elegant beige. Users will be able to customise the activity band with colour options such as pink, orange, blue and green. From the images provided by the company, it seems like Amazfit Band 7 looks similar to the Redmi Smart Band Pro that was unveiled in the country back in February.

The Amazfit Band 7 will compete with the likes of the Redmi Smart Band Pro, the Huawei Band 6 the OnePlus Band and the Mi Smart Band 6 in India. 

Amazfit Band 7 specs, features and price in India

The Amazfit Band 7 will be launched in India on November 8 at a price of Rs 2,999 the company has announced. However, the price of the Amazfit Band 7 will be Rs 3,499 post-launch. The activity band will be made available on e-commerce site Amazon India and Amazfit's own website. The smart band will feature a wide screen, longer battery life (up to 18 days on a single charge), more advanced health and fitness capabilities and compatibility with the Zepp OS and mini-applications.

The Amazfit Band 7 will feature a 232mAh battery that is claimed to sustain the device for up to 18 days of average usage and up to 28 days while in battery saver mode. 

The Amazfit Band 7 will be able to track the user's stress levels and sleeping patterns as well. Other features of the smart tracker will include BioTracker 3.0 PPG, 3-axis acceleration and a Geomagnetic sensor (supports blood-oxygen, 1PD and 2LED), according to the company. The activity tracker will also come with Alexa assistant built-in, 120 sports modes and smart sports recognition.

In terms of display, the Amazfit Band 7 will feature a 1.47-inch HD AMOLED display with a visible area that is 112 per cent larger than the previous edition. Users will be able to configure the display to be always on, and the weight of the band will be 28 grams.

Health tracking features will include continuous tracking of blood-oxygen saturation, heart rate and stress level. Reminders will be sent when certain irregularities in the data are detected. Additionally, this smart band will be able to measure all three of these parameters at once to provide a fast health status overview. Users may opt to test health indicators like blood-oxygen levels independently at any time to monitor particular data, with results available in 15 seconds.
