Tamil Nadu: Leopard, Bear Spotted Scaling Walls In Ooty Residential Area — WATCH
A leapord and a bear were spotted scaling walls in a residential area in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, late night on Friday.
In another incident of wild animals barging into the residential areas, which has lately been occurring more frequently, a leapord and a bear were spotted roaming in the residential areas in Ooty. The incident occurred late last night on April 5 in residential areas in Yellanahalli in Ooty, Tamil Nadu.
The visuals of the wild animals roaming on the terrace of a residential building and scaling walls has surfaced online.

Following the incident, the villagers have demanded that the forest departmnet officials should track the animals and cage them to avoid a similar incident from happening again, ANI reported.
The footage of the wild animals roaming around in the area has created fear amongst the villagers who are afraid to now come out of their homes, the report added.
Leopard Enters Into House In Delhi's Wazirabad, Attacks 3 People
Recently, in another similar incident reported on Monday, a leopard entered into a house and attacked three people. The incident occured around 6:14 am near Aadarsh Nagar Gali Number 3, in the Jagatpur village, located in Delhi's Wazirabad area. On receiving complaint about the leopard's presence in a residential area, the police along with the forest officials arrived at the spot.

With the assistance of the locals, the authorities managed to successfully lock the leopard in a room. The people who sufferef injuries from the leopard's attack were taken to a nearby hospital.
"At 6:14am, we received a phone call at PS Wazirabad saying a leopard had entered near Aadarsh Nagar Gali Number 3, Jagatpur village. The people who were attacked are identified as residents of Jagatpur village. Currently, the Forest Team, Fire Department and local police are deployed at the spot. The leopard has been contained in a room," the Delhi police stated.
