TN CM Stalin Admitted To Kauvery Hospital For COVID-19 Treatment
A bulletin from Kauvery Hospital said, "The CM was admitted for investigations and observation for Covid-related symptoms."
Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has been admitted to Kauvery Hospital on Thursday for coronavirus related treatment. The CM contracted the COVID infection on Tuesday.
In a bulletin, Kauvery Hospital, "Honourable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Thiru MK Stalin has been admitted at Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Chennai for investigations and observation for Covid related symptoms."
The Chief Minister before testing positive for the virus, Stalin on Tuesday inspected the arrangements for Chess Olympaid in Mahabalipuram and flood prevention works in Chengalpattu.

In a tweet, Stalin said, "I was feeling tired in the morning. So, I got tested for coronavirus. I have tested positive for the virus so I've isolated myself. Let us all wear masks, get vaccinated and let's stay safe."

As of Wednesday, Tamil Nadu recorded 2,269 fresh Covid-19 cases and no deaths. With the new positive cases, the number of active cases in the state stood at 18,710 on Tuesday. Among all districts in the state, Chennai recorded the highest with 729 cases.
Meanwhile, PMK founder S Ramadoss said that he tested positive for COVID on Wednesday. Ramadoss got tested after he got throat pain on Tuesday.
In a tweet, Ramadoss said that he isolated himself after testing positive for the virus.
