Senthil Balaji Being Paid Without Doing Any Work: BJP's Annamalai
Currently, Senthil Balaji is jailed in Puzhal prison after being arrested by Enforcement Directorate.
Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai accused Minister Senthil Balaji of getting a salary without doing any work. He said this shows that DMK wants to increase its income every minute even without considering the welfare of the people. Currently, Senthil Balaji who was arrested by Enforcement Directorate (ED) continues as a Minister without a portfolio despite being in jail.
According to ANI, Tamil Nadu BJP unit president K Annamalai said, "Senthil Balaji (state minister) who is in jail is getting his salary. Ministers are paid to work for the people but Senthil Balaji is being paid without doing any work. This confirms that he is supporting CM MK Stalin in corruption.”
“They (DMK) want to increase their income every minute but they do not care about the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu," he said.

Annamalai was addressing the fourth day of 'En Mann En Makkal' padayatra in Sivaganga. On Monday, En Mann En Makkal Padayatra also covered Mudhukulathur and Paramakudi in Ramanathapuram district. Annamalai said, "Deeply indebted to the people of Ramanathapuram for their love & affection for our Hon PM Thiru @narendramodi."

Earlier, Tamil Nadu Governor refused to give the nod to allow Senthil Balaji to continue as Minister without portfolio. However, Tamil Nadu government issued an order stating that Minister Senthil Balaji would continue as a Minister without a portfolio.
Later, Governor put his order on order after Union Home Minister Amit Shah advised him to seek the opinion of the attorney general regarding the matter.
