The much-awaited Thalapathy actor Vijay's movie 'Leo' day is here. Fans of actor Vijay, director Lokesh Kanakaraj and other actors thronged the cinemas from early morning in Tamil Nadu and Kerala to watch the first-day first show of the action-packed thriller movie on Thursday (October 19). 'Leo' produced by Seven Screen Studio stars actors Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand alongside Vijay.
The film's first show started at 4 AM in Kerala as against 9 AM in Tamil Nadu, so several fans from the state took to travel to the neighbouring states to watch the movie's first show. Earlier, Tamil Nadu government refused to give the nod for an early morning screening of the show 'Leo'.

At 9 AM, Director Lokesh Kanakaraj, actors Keerthi Suresh and Aishwarya Lekshmi enjoyed the FDFS with fans at Vetri Cinemas in Chrompet.
The movie has opened for a huge day 1 box office grossing over Rs 100 crore worldwide. However, the official numbers are to be released by the producers of the film. The movie is inspired by 'A History of Violence'.
