'Anti-BJP Votes Must Not Get Split': Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Calls For Unity Amid Crisis In I.N.D.I.A Bloc

Stalin expressed that the future pages of history should reflect the formation of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc and its successful capture of power at the Centre.

Votes against BJP must not get split, said Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin pitching for the unity of I.N.D.I.A bloc leaders on Friday. Amid confusion prevailing over the stand of West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Stalin said that everyone should have only one aim and that was to not allow BJP to come back to power.

In his address at the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi's 'Democracy will win' conference in Trichy on Friday, Stalin said, "Everyone should only have one aim- not to allow BJP to come back to power. Votes against BJP must not get split,"

"If BJP comes to power again, then there will be no democracy & federalism in the country," he said.

Stalin mentioned that leaders of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc need to understand that if the BJP was concerned about the possibility of the opposition alliance winning even at the level of a mayor poll in Chandigarh, unity among the members could remove the saffron party from power at the national level.

"When they cancel even a mayor level poll, the INDIA alliance leaders must realise the fear of the BJP. We have to use this. We have to clasp the opportunity that we have now got. If we remain united, the BJP will be defeated," the CM said, as per PTI.

Stalin expressed that the future pages of history should reflect the formation of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc and its successful capture of power at the Centre.
