Vikram Had Mild Chest Discomfort, Not Heart Attack: Actor's Manager

Vikram Health Update: Vikram will likely to be discharged from hospital in a day, the manager added.

Chennai: Actor Vikram just had mild chest discomfort and did not suffer a heart attack, said the manager of the actor Suryanarayanan on Friday. The statement of the manager comes after the actor was admitted to Kavery hospital in Chennai.

Amid rumours that the actor was admitted after suffering a heart attack, Vikram's Manager Suryanarayanan said, "Dear fans and wellwishers, Chiyaan Vikram had mild chest discomfort and is being treated for the same. He DID NOT have a heart attack as reports falsely claim. We are pained to hear rumours to this effect that are being circulated."

"We request you to give him and the family the privacy they need at this time. Our dear Chiyaan is fine now. He is likely to be discharged from hospital in a day," he said.

The Manager also said that he hopes that the statement provides clarity and trust that the false rumours will be put to rest.

The health issue of the actor also comes amid the actor's scheduled participation in the trailer launch of his upcoming film 'Ponniyin Selvan' in Chennai at 6 pm on Friday.
