Prayagraj: Saints & Gurus Urge People To Get Vaccinated, Administer Oath To People At Religious Places

In Prayagraj's Om Namah Shivay Ashram, people are being made aware of vaccination in a special way. Oaths are also being administered to the people coming to listen to the discourse.

Prayagraj: Saints and religious gurus of Sangam city Prayagraj have started a campaign to make people aware of vaccination in a special way. Under this, devotees who come to Om Namah Shivaya ashram, as well as some other religious places to listen to darshan-puja and guru's discourses, are not only being administered oath but they are also being motivated to encourage others to get immunized. 

The Om Namah Shivaya Ashram situated on the banks of the Yamuna at Gaughat is thronged by devotees throughout the day. Some come for Rudrabhishek and some come to see the head of the ashram, Prabhu Ji Maharaj, to seek his blessings. More importantly, these days, the ashram echoes the chanting of mantras, hymns, and discourses as well as messages of protection from Covid throughout the day. Gurumantras is given to the devotees who come for yoga and practice in the morning to protect them from the Corona. During the afternoon, in the discourse among limited devotees, people are advised to protect themselves from the epidemic through vaccines. The message of vaccination is also administered daily to ensure that no devotee visiting the ashram ignores it.

Prabhu Ji Maharaj, the head of the ashram, gives a pledge to the people that he himself will get the vaccine done. Along with this, they will also make their family, relatives, friends, and neighbors aware of getting vaccinated. Along with the vaccination, people are also asked to wear masks and follow the rules of social distancing. Cultural programs are also organized to explain the importance of vaccination to the devotees visiting the ashram. According to The Ashram Chief Prabhuji Maharaj, not only will the vaccine protect one's own life, but the country will also be free from Corona at the earliest.

There is also a special program of Rudrabhishek
A special program of Rudrabhishek is also performed in the ashram for the elimination of Corona. In this, Lord Bholenath is anointed with 20 quintals of milk and curd. Havan is also organized here to get rid of Corona. Religious programs are followed by special prayers for the destruction of Corona and the well-being of the people. The number of devotees coming to the ashram is not allowed to exceed 100 in any condition.
