PM Modi In Ayodhya LIVE: Hello and welcome to the live blog of ABP Live. Please follow this space for all the news and latest updates regarding the Prime Minister's visit to Ayodhya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya on Saturday. The city is decked with flowers, murals, and thematic ornamental columns to welcome him. Apart from the city's decoration, proper security arrangements have also been made. Heavy police presence is seen across the city. Security personnel are monitoring the whole city, especially the restricted areas. Police personnel in anti-riot gear were also seen on the streets in a bid to amp up the security measures.

Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya, Gaurav Dayal, earlier told news agency PTI, "The Prime Minister is expected to reach Ayodhya airport somewhere around 10:45 AM. After landing at the airport, he will move straight to Ayodhya railway station where he will inaugurate the redeveloped railway station. He will then return to the airport, inaugurate the newly-built airport and subsequently address a 'jan sabha' (public rally)."

According to a PTI report, wooden barricades have been set up on both sides of the recently redeveloped Ram Path, and other roads that will fall on his route as he heads for the railway station from the airport.

Approximately 1.5 lakh people are expected to assemble for the rally. After the rally, the Prime Minister will depart from Ayodhya.

This visit of PM Modi comes just three weeks ahead of his subsequent Ayodhya visit to attend the consecration of Ram Lalla's idol in Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024.

During this visit, PM Modi will announce and inaugurate a number of projects apart from the railway station and airport as well. According to a release from the Prime Minister's Office, he will flag off two new Amrit Bharat and six new Vande Bharat trains during his visit.

He is also expected to launch projects worth more than Rs 11,100 crore to revamp civic facilities and develop world-class infrastructure in Ayodhya. As for other parts of Uttar Pradesh, projects worth over Rs 4,600 crore will also be announced.

In a bid to improve the accessibility to the upcoming Ram Mandir, he will also inaugurate four newly redeveloped, widened, and beautified roads in Ayodhya i.e., Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Dharm Path, and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path, as stated by the PMO.
