Rajasthan Polls: Gehlot Says Congress Will Win 'No Matter What Exit Polls Say'

Hours ahead of exit polls for the Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023, CM Ashok Gehlot said that no matter what the exit polls say, Congress will form the government in the state.

Just hours before Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023 exit polls, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that irrespective of what the exit polls say, Congress will form the government. He exuded his confidence in the people of Rajasthan and gave three reasons why Congress will come back to power in the state. Gehlot said that there is no anti-incumbency against his government as is being claimed. The second reason that he gave was the CM adding that evenBJP voters will say that the CM left no stone unturned in carrying out development work. His third reason was that nobody liked the language spoken by the Prime Minister, Home Minister, BJP Chief Ministers and Union Ministers during the campaign.

While talking to the news agency ANI, Gehlot said, "No matter what exit polls say, Congress will form the government in Rajasthan. BJP is not winning in any of the 5 states. People will repeat our government in Rajasthan and there are 3 reasons for this. The first reason is that there is no anti-incumbency wave against the government, even experts are saying so. The second one is CM. BJP voters will also say that the CM left no stone unturned in carrying out development work. Third is the language spoken by the Prime Minister, Home Minister, BJP Chief Ministers and Union Ministers during the campaign. Nobody liked that language."

Gehlot added, "It will cost them (BJP) in 2024. The aura of PM Modi that was there earlier is no longer there. They are unable to understand that. They are murdering the democracy. ED, IT and CBI are being sent to people's houses and they are finishing the credibility of these agencies. People have now started realising that they do something else and say something else."

According to the ABP-CVoter opinion poll, the BJP will return to power in the state. The saffron party is expected to win anywhere between 114-124 seats with a vote share of 44.8 per cent and the Congress is expected to come a distant second with 67-77 seats in its bag and a vote share of 41.7 per cent.

ABP News-CVoter will bring you the exit poll results at 6.30 pm on Thursday.

The results for Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023 will be announced on December 3.
