Kerala Lottery Result Today (July 9, 2025): Kerala State Lotteries programme, the first of its kind in India, is a flagship initiative by the Government of Kerala, launched in 1967. It was established to ban private lotteries and provide employment while boosting state revenue through legal and transparent means.
The Kerala Lottery Department now operates under the Taxes Department and employs more than 500 people across 14 district offices, 21 sub-lottery offices, and the Directorate in Thiruvananthapuram. There is also a regional deputy directorate in Ernakulam and an audit office in Kozhikode.
