Delhi Weather Update: Will Rain Mean Relief From Heat Or A Damp Squib For Holi Revelry? Check Forecast For NCR

Delhi experienced light rain on Thursday morning, with temperatures remaining above average. Friday is forecast to bring cloudy skies, light rain, and a slight temperature rise.

The residents in Delhi woke up to the clear skies on Thursday morning with light rain predicted for tonight. On March 12, Delhi recorded its hottest day with temperatures reaching 34.8 degrees Celsius, 6.4 degrees Celsius above the usual average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather body has predicted a pleasant day for Friday with a slight rise in the temperature during the daytime. The weather body has predicted the possibility of cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle towards the night. The forecast for the day indicates a minimum and maximum temperature of 17 degrees Celsius, respectively. The relative humidity is 17 per cent.

Delhi Weather Forecast For Tomorrow

According to the weather body, the national capital is expected to experience cloudy skies with light rain or drizzles on Friday. A minimum and maximum temperature of 17 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively, are expected.

Weather Forecast For Next 5 Days

IMD has predicted cloudy skies with the possibility of dry light rain and drizzle on March 14 and 15. On 16th March, the skies will remain partly cloudy with mist during the morning hours. According to the weather body report, the residents will witness a clear sky next Monday and Tuesday, with the misty conditions on the morning of March 17.

Two cyclones are predicted to bring rainfall in India. The IMD said that the first two cyclones are said to be originating from Iraq and will move towards the northern states of India and bring rainfall in several states. The Delhi-NCR region will also receive rainfall if north India witnesses downpour.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), an Air Quality Index of 164 under the poor category was recorded at 6 am on Thursday, March 13, 2025, as compared to the higher AQI of 251 recorded yesterday.
