How Much Does An Advice From Prashant Kishore Cost? Political Analyst Reveals Fees

Election strategist Prashant Kishor revealed the amount of fees he charges for advising political parties, claiming 10 state governments run on his strategies.

Jan Suraj party convener and political analyst Prashant Kishor disclosed the amount of fees he charges for advising any political party or leader as an election strategist. Kishor made the revelation while addressing a public meeting in Belaganj campaigning for the upcoming bypolls in Bihar.

Explaining that people frequently ask him how he funds his campaigns, Kishor said he charges over Rs 100 crore for advising any political party or leader as their election strategist.

“Ten governments in different states are running on my strategies,” he said.

"Do you think I won't have enough money to set up tents and canopies for my campaign? Do you think I’m that weak? In Bihar, no one has heard of fees like mine. If I advise someone in just one election, my fee is Rs 100 crore or even more. For the next two years, I can continue to fund my campaign with just one such election advice,” he added.

During his address, he said that he had quit his job as an election strategist and would now advise people at the grassroots instead.

Giving a "winning formula" to win the upcoming elections, Kishor said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has got only 36 per cent of votes while Hindus make up 80 per cent of the country's population, implying that more than half of the community has not voted for the saffron party in the Lok Sabha polls.

"You have to only identify those Hindus who do not align with BJP's ideology," advised Kishor. "Hindus who share Gandhian ideology are not linked to BJP, be they of any caste," he said.

"Likewise Hindus who have Ambedkarite, Communist, and socialist ideology of Lohia Jaiprakash are also not with BJP," he added.

"If these four groups of Hindus mix with Muslims, such ideology-based system will be set up where you will be 60 per cent and BJP will reduce to 40 per cent and this is a sure way of achieving success," Kishor said.

The Jan Suraj has fielded four candidates for the upcoming byelections; Mohammad Amjad from Belaganj, Jitendra Paswan from Imamganj, Sushil Kumar Singh Kushwaha from Ramgarh, and Kiran Singh from Tarari.
