The Indian cricket team will don a new jersey, a lighter shade of color blue, in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
T20 World Cup 2022: Indian cricket team's official kit sponsors MPL Sports shared a video via Twitter on Tuesday to announce Men in Blue's new jersey for T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. India will don a new jersey, a lighter shade of color blue, in the marquee event. MPL joined team India as their official kit sponsors in 2022 and this will be their third jersey in as many years. The video teasing team India's new stylish and vibrant jersey features Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya.
Shared by MPL Sports, Rohit in the video said, "As fans you make us the cricketer we are." While Shreyas Iyer, who is part of the T20 World Cup squad as standby player said, "The game is not the same without you guys cheering us on."

Meanwhile,BCCI on Monday announced Indian squad for the upcoming edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. Team India will be captained by Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul will be the vice-captain in the multi-nation tournament.
Team's leading pacer Jasprit Bumrah and in-form talented young speedster Harshal Patel are back in the team to bloster India's under-fire pace attack.
