Paris Olympics 2024: Lovlina Borgohain stands one win away from creating history, as with a potential win in the quarter final, she will become the second Indian women athlete after PV Sindhu to win two individual Olympic medals. Lovlina Borgohain is competing in the Women's 75KG Boxing event, and bagged an impressive victory in her Round of 16 fixture against Sunniva Hofstad.

However, her biggest challenge lies ahead in the quarter final clash, as she will now be facing the world number 1 from China, Li Qian, who is amongst the best Women boxers on planet Earth from past couple of years. Lovlina, who herself is world number 8, is on a terrific run of momentum, but fighting against Li Qian requires more than just  momentum.

If somehow, the Indian boxer emerges victorious against the Chinese, it will be nothing short of a miracle, and then, the Indian faithful can practically expect Lovlina Borgohain to do the unthinkable.... grabbing gold medal in Women's boxing event at the Olympics!
