Paris Paralympics 2024 Opening Ceremony: France is all set to host its maiden Paralympic Games. The tournament is all set to commence on August 28 with the opening ceremony with the quadrennial event set to conclude on September 8. Much like the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, the Paris Paralympics Opening ceremony too will be held outside the confines of a stadium for the first time.
The Paris Paralympics 2024 opening ceremony is being led by Thomas Jolly, the same art director who led the opening event of the Paris Olympics held last month neart the Eiffel Tower. It is being learnt that more than 100 members from the Indian contingent, including 52 athletes, will be participating in the Paris Paralympics 2024 Opening Ceremony.
The Indian athletes who have their events on Thursday (August 28), including a 10-member shooting team, are not featuring in the parade of nations.
