Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem etched his name in the annals of history by becoming the first Pakistani athlete to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics as he became the Javelin champion at the Paris Olympics 2024. He also set an Olympic record with a remarkable 92.97m javelin throw in the final. Since returning home, Arshad has been at the centre of all the attention with rewards and honours coming his way from all directions. However, a peculiar video has emerged on social media that has fans feeling bad for Arshad Nadeem.

A video that went viral on social media shows people visiting Arshad Nadeem's home in Mian Channu, Khanewal district of Punjab province, to meet the Olympic gold medallist. However, many fans were unhappy with the way Arshad was treated as one of the visitors can be seen handing currency bills to Arshad and taking photos with him.

In the video, a man is seen giving cash to Arshad and stating, "I urge the government to provide cash rewards to Arshad as I have done. Promises are often made, but the money is not delivered."
