SRH vs RCB Highlights, IPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 35 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad to end their six-match losing streak. After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Bengaluru managed to post 206/7, riding on a 43-ball 51 and a half-century from Rajat Patidar. It was Patidar's innings though that really made the difference as he departed for a 20-ball 53, providing the innings the much-needed impetus.
In response, SRH tried to go after the bowling right from the word go, like they have been doing all season but the plan backfired this time around as they lost four wickets inside the powerplay. Other than Abhishek Sharma's 12-ball 31 at the top, Shahbaz Ahmed and Pat Cummins made valuable contributions for SRH but in the end it only helped in reducing the defecit of their defeat.

Jaydev Unadkat's Effort In Vain
It was Unadkat whose efforts went in vain. The left-armer scalped 3 for 30 for SRH while T Natarajan finished with 2/39. Mayank Markande (1/42 off 3), Pat Cummins (1/55 off 4) were the other wicket-takers. For RCB, Karn Sharma was the stand out performer with the ball in hand as he scalped 2 wickets for 29 runs. Cameron Green also picke 2 for 12 off his 4 overs. It was a dream debut of sorts of Swapnil Singh who first made 12 off 6 before removing Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen.

IPL 2024: RCB's Second Win Of The Season
The win over SRH was RCB's second of the season in nine games. The win might not have improved their position at the points table with them still at the rock bottom of the table, it has definitely announced that one cannot rule them out as mere pushovers in the second half of the league as they registered a win against a side that had been in top form.
