IPL 2024 Updated Points Table: Give a look at the updated points table, highest run-getters and wicket-takers of the IPL 2024 after the GT vs DC match in Ahmedabad.

IPL 2024 Updated Points Table: Delhi Capitals (DC) registered a commanding victory over Gujarat Titans (GT) in their own den in Ahmedabad on April 17 (Thursday) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Captained by Rishabh Pant, DC defeated Shubman Gill’s GT by 6 wickets and with 11.1 overs remaining in the 32nd match of the IPL season 2024.

In a low-scoring affair, GT struggled with the bat after being put in to bat first. They were dismissed for a meek total of 89 runs in just 17.3 overs. Rashid Khan emerged as their highest scorer, contributing 31 runs off 24 balls. All of the DC bowlers, except Kuldep Yadav, had a wicket to their name, with Mukesh Kumar being the highest wicket-taker with 3 wickets. In response, Jake Fraser-McGurk played a quick knock of 20 runs off just 10 balls while opening the innings. Despite GT’s efforts in claiming four wickets, their total wasn't sufficient as DC successfully chased down the target in a just 8.5 overs.

With their third victory of the season, DC rose to the sixth position in the IPL 2024 points table. This win marked their second consecutive win, following a six-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their previous match.
