IPL 2022: Rahul Tripathi Earns Praise On Twitter After His Match-Winning Innings Against KKR, His Ex-Team
Tripathi also holds the record for scoring the most runs in IPL cricket by an uncapped player. He received immense praise after his match-winning knock at the Brabourne Stadium.
A former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman, Rahul Tripathi, showed no mercy on the KKR bowlers as he (along with Markram) won the match for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He scored 71 in 37 balls batting at no.3 for SRH.
When SRH came into bat, they had a poor start in the powerplay overs. Abhishek Sharma, the hero of the previous match got out for 3 in 10 balls. The score at the end of the powerplay was 46/2. Tripathi and Markram stitched a partnership of 94 runs for the third wicket.

Tripathi was adjudged Man of the Match who said that being with KKR previously helped his batting today as he preempted certain deliveries by his ex-teammates.
