Rajasthan Royals defeated the three-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings by seven wickets in their match that took place on Monday. Chennai Super Kings, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, so far have had a disappointing performance in the IPL this time.
Chennai has lost seven of their ten matches in the Indian Premier League being played in the UAE. The three-time champion, CSK, are now even struggling to reach the playoffs this time.

Chennai batsmen batted very slowly in this match due to which the team could put a very ordinary first-innings total. CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was yet again trolled for slow batting in this match, but once again he managed to stun everyone with his extraordinary wicket-keeping skills
Dhoni, who was playing his 200th IPL match, got run out due to the risk he took for stealing a quick second run while batting. No batsman from CSK was able to do wonders, but when the Rajasthan Royals came out to bat for the run-chase, Dhoni once again showed how good he is behind the wicket.

Chasing a modest target of 126 runs to win, RR's star batsman Jos Buttler scored an unbeaten 98-run partnership for the fourth wicket with captain Steve Smith (26 not out) as they together scored 70 off 48 balls.
Chennai Super Kings failed to give a big target, still their bowlers had managed to pull themselves back in the match by taking quick three wickets. However, Butler and Smith guided Rajasthan to a thrilling victory.
