Hardik now holds the record for the best bowling figures by a captain in IPL history, surpassing Anil Kumble's long-standing 4/16 against Deccan Chargers in 2009. Kumble now sits second on the list, followed by other iconic names like JP Duminy and Shane Warne.

After being invited to bat first, Lucknow Super Giants posted a total of 203/8 against Mumbai Indians. The opening duo gave LSG a solid start, adding 76 runs for the first wicket. Mitchell Marsh was in top form, smashing 60 runs off 31 balls, while Aiden Markram anchored the innings with a steady 53 off 38 deliveries.

However, the middle order failed to maintain momentum. Nicholas Pooran managed just 12 runs, and Rishabh Pant continued his poor run with another low score of 2.
