IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Most Expensive Indian Uncapped Players After End Of Auction

Uncapped players secured a good amount of money in the auction. All uncapped players secured an amount, many times more than their base price and all teams also showed great interest in buying them.

New Delhi: The mega auction of IPL 2022, which lasted for two days at Hotel ITC Gardenia in Bangalore, is finally over. A total of 204 players were sold in the mega auction. Of these, 137 were Indian and 67 foreign players. All the 10 franchises of IPL had entered the auction with 561 crores. Out of this, a total of Rs 549.70 crore were shelled out by the franchises. A total of 108 players were paid a salary of more than 1 crore. A total of 11 players secured a salary of more than 10 crores.

Uncapped players too bagged a good amount of money in the auction. All the uncapped players secured an amount, many times more than their base price and all the teams also showed great interest in buying them.

Let's have a look at the list of most expensive Indian uncapped players after the end of IPL auction.

Avesh Khan became the most expensive uncapped player in the IPL auction. He was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 10 crore on the first day of the auction. Avesh has become the highest selling uncapped player in the history of IPL auction.

All-rounder Shahrukh Khan was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 9 crore. Shahrukh made headlines with his brilliant batting in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Jitendra Sharma – Rs 20 lakh | Punjab Kings

Mohammad Arshad Khan - Rs 20 lakh | Mumbai Indians

Hrithik Chatterjee – Rs 20 lakh | Punjab Kings

Baltej Singh – Rs 20 lakh | Punjab Kings

Karan Sharma - Rs 20 lakh | Lucknow Super Giants

Shashank Singh – Rs 20 lakh | Sunrisers Hyderabad

All 10 teams shelled out over 550 crore to buy 204 players. Ishan Kishan, who was released by Mumbai Indians ahead of the auction, was retained by the franchise for a jaw-dropping INR 15.25 crore, making him the most expensive buy in this year's auction.
