IND vs AUS, 3rd ODI, Indian Skipper Virat Kohli Wins Toss, Elects To Bat First At Manuka Oval

IND vs AUS, 3rd ODI Toss Update: Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.

The Manuka Oval in Australia's capital city Canberra will play host to the third and final One Day International of the 3-match series between India and Australia which begins in a short while from now. Having already clinched the series 2-0, Finch-led Australia would look to register a third straight win and whitewash the visiting Indian team 3-0 in the series. On the other hand, Kohli-skippered India seek a desperate win to end their four match losing streak and salvage some pride going into the T20 international series against hosts. Toss Update: Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. Team Changes: Medium pacer T Natarajan who comes in place of seamer Mohammad Shami is making his ODI debut. Meanwhile, Shardul Thakur has come into the Playing XI in place of speedster Navdeep Saini. Young opener Shubman Gill will open the innings in place of Mayank Agarwal. Australia have also made three changes to their Playing XI for the 3rd ODI. Cameroon Green is making his ODI debut for Australia. Sean Abbott comes in place of Pat Cummins who has been rested for the T20I series. Marnus Labuschagne will be opening the batting for the hosts in place of seasoned opener David Warner who sustained a groin injury in the 2nd ODI at SCG. Here is what the skippers had to say Virat Kohli (Indian Skipper): We will bat first. Looks a nice wicket and the last time we played here it was a really good wicket to bat on. Want to bat well and put the opposition under pressure. Need to improve the body language and the bowling as well. It's a result of us not being consistent in the last two games, we are gonna try a few things tonight and see how it goes. Aaron Finch (Australian Skipper): We have got three changes. Starc got a back and rib niggle and the medical team informed us that he will greatly benefit by resting, and obviously Davey and Pat Cummins not playing today. Green is making his debut, Sean Abbott and Ashton Agar come in too. Marnus will be opening for us. No such thing as a dead-rubber when you are playing for Australia and we will be doing everything we can to try and win the game.
