With the win, Crystal Palace have now completed their first ever double over Manchester United in a Premier League season, with their first win coming at the Old Trafford back in September 2023. The Eagles have now won 3 of their past 7 matches against the Red Devils in all competitions and with their latest win, they are all but assured of avoiding a Bottom 6 finish this season.
A season to remember for the Eagles 🦅

Several records were broken during the fixture, as Manchester United have now shipped in 81 goals in all competitions this season, the most in their entire history. With the defeat, Manchester United are on verge of achieving their lowest ever points tally and lowest ever finish in a Premier League season.
Erik Ten Hag's side currently have 54 points in 35 mtches, nd their lowest ever points tally was 58, which came in the 2021/22 season, and their lowest ever finish is 7th, which came in the 2013/14 season.
The Red Devils are currently 8th and given the form of Newcastle United and Chelsea FC as of late, things are not looking good and bright at the 'Theatre of Dreams'.
Manchester United's worst finish in the past 10 years was their 7th-place finish under David Moyes in 2014.

Here's What Erik Ten Hag Said After Manchester United's 4-0 Defeat To Crystal Palace
As reported by BBC, the Dutchman was utterly disappointed by the team's performance and had plently of things to say.
"As Man Utd we should perform better. The players who were available should do better. It's a deserved defeat. The performance wasn't what we expected. We can't focus on just one player [Casemiro]. We have to focus on the team performance. This was not right. We have to put it right on Sunday. We have to learn from this game and improve. You have to stick together. You have to take responsibility. The fans gave us such huge and tremendous support," said Erik Ten Hag, to BBC Match of the Day.
I will keep fighting and I prepared the team in the best way I could do and it was not good enough, by far not good enough. I have to take the responsibility for that, but I will find energy and I will prepare them for Sunday's game. All season, we have huge problems and by now, this is the fourth defeat in this calendar year, so that's not a lot and every time, we had huge problems and many times, we sort it out. Today, we didn't," he added, in an interview with Sky Sports.
