The defending champions, led by veteran Harmanpreet Kaur, start their campaign in Women's Asia Cup with their first match against arch-rival Pakistan in Dambulla. This year's tournament features eight teams divided into two groups: Group A includes India, Pakistan, UAE, and Nepal, while Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Malaysia.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals, which are scheduled to be played on July 26. The final will take place on July 28.
