Reaching 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Test runs in just his 13th innings, he now shares this incredible feat with the legendary Don Bradman. 🤩
A phenomenal feat, making him the third-fastest ever and the quickest since 1949! What a star!#SLvNZ… pic.twitter.com/8vLBoKECs2
List of batters fastest to 1000 Test runs:

New Zealand Lose Both Openers At Stumps, Day 2
The Kiwis are enduring a forgettable time in Sri Lanka, as they have already lost the first Test match and realistically, stand absolutely no chance of recording a win from the current situation. Their situation in the ongoing World Test Championship has taken a big hit as well, as they are now behind Sri Lanka and stand a risk of going below England if they endure a defeat in the 2nd Test.
At Stumps on Day 2, New Zealand are 22/2, as Devon Conway continues his poor form with the bat in red-ball cricket. His average across the Test series since March 2023 has dropped drastically and his best score is of 29.
If New Zealand are to avoid a defeat, their batters need to make sure they bat out the remaining 3 days.
