Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir can be seen in a never-seen-before interaction video shared by the BCCI to 'put an end to all the masala.'

Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir are two giants of Indian cricket. While Gambhir has transitioned from being a cricketer to a commentator, politician and now the head coach of the senior Indian men's cricket team, Kohli, who is Gambhir's junior, is continuing to leave his mark in world cricket having made his name as one of the finest batters of the current generation.

Chasing 275 to win in the 2011 ICC Men's ODI World Cup final, India were reduced to 31/2 in 6.1 overs with Sachin Tendulkar walking back to the pavilion. It was then that Kohli and Gambhir had joined hands in the middle to produce one of the most significant partnerships of their careers. The duo put on 83 off 93 for the third wicket to take India out of a spot of bother and closer to the title.

As it turned out, Gambhir top-scored in that final for India, making it the most hallowed 97 in the history of Indian cricket as India went on to beat Sri Lanka to lift the ODI World Cup. While Gambhir and Kohli, both Delhi lads, have had a few alteractions on the field, when they have represented different franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL), they both came together in an interaction for BCCI TV to 'put an end to all the masala.'

While fans will have to wait to watch the entire episode, they have teased fans with a clip which will be enough to break the internet.

India vs Bangladesh Test Series To Commence On September 19

On the workfront, Kohli will be making a Test cricket comeback with the India vs Bangladesh Test series beginning on September 19. While the series opener will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the second of the two-Test series is scheduled at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
