India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test: Team India wrapped up the series opener in Chennai in four days and have dispersed for a short break ahead of the second Test in Kanpur beginning on September 27.
India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test: India and Bangladesh are currently in the middle of a two-match Test series. While the hosts wrapped up the series opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai inside four days winning the match by 280 runs, that has allowed the team to enjoy a short break between the first and the second Test scheduled at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur from September 27.
While the likes of Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and Rishabh Pant were spotted in Delhi, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jasiwal have reportedly travelled to Mumbai. Teams will come together again ahead of the Kanpur Test on Wednesday (September 25).

First Test In Kanpur Since 2021
As far as the Kanpur Test is concerned, one of India's traditional Test venues happens to host its first Test at since 2021 which was when India took on New Zealand. Shreyas Iyer had scored a superb century on Test debut in that Test in the first innings before following it with a fifty in second to bag the Player of the match.

India, however, could not win that Test in November 2021 with the five-day fixture ending in a draw. It was an even longer wait the last time around with the Test match before that at that venue coming in 2016 against the same two opponents. On that occasion, however, India had manged to win the fixture.
With Ekana Stadium in Lucknow now coming up, most international matches that shifted to Lucknow with Kanpur getting fewer international matches.
