Rohit Sharma Practises THIS Unorthodox Stroke To Counter Spin Threat Ahead Of India vs Bangladesh Tests; Picture Goes Viral

India vs Bangladesh Tests: Knowing that the Bangladesh spinners can pose a threat against India, India captain Rohit Sharma was seen playing an unorthodox shot, one which he rarely uses.

Rohit Sharma will be back at the helm of affairs as India take on Bangladesh in a two-match Test series beginning on September 19 (Thursday) in Chennai. While India have never lost to Bangladesh in the longest format of the game, the Indian skipper is not taking them lightly at all. Knowing that the Bangladesh spinners can pose a threat against India, Rohit was seen playing an unorthodox shot, one which he rarely uses.

While the senior India opener has used this shot in the past, it's definitely not one of those which one comes to associate with the elegant and graceful Rohit. The shot in question happens to be none other than the reverse sweep. A couple of pictures of Rohit's practising the shot in a net session ahead of the series opener has gone viral on social media.

Virat Kohli Set To Make A Test Cricket Comeback

The India vs Bangladesh Test series also marks the return of Virat Kohli in the Test cricket front after a long time. Notably, Kohli has missed out on the entire five-match home series against England as he was there with his wife Anushka Sharma to attend the birth of his second child.
