Batting first, Pakistan scored 335 runs and in reply the Kiwis were bowled out for 232, with their skipper Tom Latham scoring the maximum 60 runs off 76 balls. Pakistan's Shaheen Afridi, popularly known for his bowling prowess, showcased how good can be with the bat. The star pacer hammered NZ bowler Blair Tickner for 22 runs -- three sixes and a boundary -- in his 7-ball 23 not out as Pakistan plundered 94 runs in final 10 overs. Babar Azam Fastest Batter To Score 5,000 Runs In ODI Cricket
By virtue of his sensational ton in PAK vs NZ 4th ODI, Babar Azam became the fastest batter to complete 5,000 runs in ODI cricket. Before Babar, legendary South African player Hashim Amla held this record. Amla completed 5,000 ODI runs in 101 innings. Babar Azam reached the 5,000 run-mark in 97 ODI innings, also making him the 14th player in the world to do so.
The fifth and final ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on Sunday (May 7) at National Stadium Karachi.
