New Delhi: Indian fans were expressing their discontent as the Live Streaming of England vs New Zealand 2nd Test match was replaced by the Pakistan Super League match between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings.
The rights of broadcast and live streaming of both England vs New Zealand and Pakistan Super League (PSL) are with the Indian company Sony Pictures Network (SPN) India. The broadcaster did not have any space to telecast both the live events and thus decide to prioritize the T20 league over the 2nd Test match between England and New Zealand.
Sony Ten1 was showing the Live Telecast of England vs NZ till 6:30 pm, after which the Live telecast of the PSL match between Multan and Karachi took over.
This move did not sit well with the cricket fans from India. They expressed their outrage over this move by SPN:

Although Sony Ten1 shifted to PSL, the 2nd Test between England and NZ will be live-streamed on the Sony LIV App.
Television telecast of the same will not be available in India. At tea on Day 1, England has lost 4 wickets for 152 runs. It is an average start for both teams.
The first Test was drawn and this is the final Test match of the series. After this Test, NZ will play India in the WTC Final in just a week's time.
