While there several incidents of fans going crazy in order to get a glimpse of the men's cricket stars they idolise or admire, this time around a video of a young fan breaking down in denies after not being able to meet her favourite women cricket stars in Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues has gone viral.

Notably, India Women are meeting England Women in a home bilateral T20I series in which the first T20I was played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Post the match, a bunch of fans who had prepared placards and posters and wanted to get it autographed by Harmanpreet and Jemimah seemed disappointed. One among them started crying in a video posted by Female Cricket.

India Succumb To 38-Run Defeat In Series Opener
Meanwhile, India succumbed to a 38-run defeat in the series opener. While England Women scored 197/6, riding on Nat-Sciver Brunt's 77 off 53 and Danni Wyatt's 75 off 47, in the run-chase, despite Shafali Verma's 52 off 42 and Harmanpreet Kaur's 26 off 21, India could only manage 159/6.

Sophie Ecclestone was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors and made a match-winning impact, picking up 3 wickets for 15 runs in her 4 overs. Sarah Glenn (1/25) and Freya Kemp (1/30) were the English bowlers who tasted success and helped the Three Lions take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
