India's challenge in the Badminton Asia Championships 2024 tournament will be spearheaded by Lakshya Sen and two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu.

Despite making a remarkable return from injury that saw her play a pivotal role in securing a historic gold medal for India at the Badminton Asia Team Championships, PV Sindhu has yet to clinch a title on the BWF World Tour this season. 

PV Sindhu's most recent appearance was at the Spain Masters 2024, where the 28-year-old Indian shuttler faced a disappointing exit in the quarter-finals. She was defeated by Supanida Katethong from Thailand. Sindhu begins her Badminton Asia Championships 2024 campaign with a match against World No. 33, Thaiand's Goh Jin Wei.
