Ingredients

  • 1.5 Cup Raggi Flour (Finger Millet)
  • 90 Gram Organic Powdered Jaggery
  • 40 Gram Ghee
  • 0.5 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Chopped nuts - Cashews, Almonds (Optional)
  • Desiccated coconut (Optional)
  • Sesame seeds (Optional)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Roast The Raggi Flour: Heat a thick-bottomed pan and dry roast the Raggi flour on low flame.

Step 2

Stir continuously for 6–8 minutes until it turns aromatic and slightly darker.

Step 3

Add Ghee: Pour in the ghee and mix well.

Step 4

Continue roasting for another 5–7 minutes until a nutty aroma develops.

Step 5

Sweeten And Flavor: Turn off the heat. Add cardamom powder and powdered jaggery.

Step 6

Mix thoroughly, ensuring the jaggery blends in smoothly.

Step 7

Shape The Ladoo: Allow the mixture to cool slightly until warm.

Step 8

Take small portions and shape into round ladoos.

Step 9

If too dry, add more ghee at room temperature.

Step 10

Store And Serve: Store in an airtight container.

Step 11

Enjoy as a healthy snack or festive treat!
