At least 11 tourists, including two senior citizens and four women, got stranded mid-air at Parwanoo Timber Trail in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan Valley on Monday after their cable car developed a technical glitch. Parwanoo Deputy Superintendent of Police Pranav Chauhan said the rescue operation is underway.

181 Mail Express, 348 Passenger Trains Cancelled Today Amid the Agnipath Protests. Due to the ongoing protest against Agnipath, several trains have been cancelled mainly on the Northern, Western, and Central Railway. According to the Ministry of Railways, 181 Mail Express and 348 passenger trains were cancelled. There have been no diversions of trains. Several trains especially in the Central Railway and Southern Railway have been rescheduled.

Sidhu Moose Wala Murder: Main Shooter Among Three Arrested, Grenades Recovered, Say Delhi Police. Delhi Police on Monday said it had arrested three persons, including one Priyavrat alias Fauji, who was the main shooter and executioner of the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

9 Members Of A Family Found Dead At Home In Sangli. Nine members of the same family were found dead in their house in Miraj tehsil of Sangli, Maharashtra on Monday and police suspect it to be a case of suicide. "We have found nine bodies in a house. Three bodies were found at one place, while six were found at other different places in the house," Sangli Superintendent of Police Dikshit Gedam said. 

India head coach Rahul Dravid on Sunday made it clear that the under-fire Rishabh Pant is a "big" and "integral" part of the set-up heading into the T20 World Cup in Australia. Pant, who led the side in the five-match series against South Africa that ended in a 2-2 draw after the last game was called off due to rain, managed only 58 runs in the five innings that led to some questions being raised about his place in the shortest format.
