Pakistani journalist Nusrat Mirza has alleged that the former Vice President of India Hamid Ansari had invited him to India multiple times and during these trips the journalist has claimed to have spied for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and provided them sensitive information. This revelation by Mirza has triggered a political storm as the Bhartiya Janta Party has demanded Mr Ansari and the Congress party to justify Mirza's claims. Hamid Ansari's past connections with Pakistan has been brought up whereas the former Vice President has rubbished all the allegations levelled against him.
